Recent statistics from Kuwait's Central Department of Statistics show the country's workforce is approximately 2.13 million strong. The data reflects shifts in the labor market and sectoral distribution.
Leading Nationalities
Indians comprise the largest segment of Kuwait's expat workforce, with around 535,000 workers.
The next largest group consists of Egyptians, while other nationalities, including a significant number of Nepalese, have also seen growth.
Kuwaiti Workforce
There are around 454,000 Kuwaiti workers, making up 21.3% of the workforce. Non-Kuwaitis represent the larger portion, totaling 78.7% or about 1,678,958 workers.
