Under the patronage and in the presence of Queen Rania Al Abdullah, the Al Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans hosted a charity dinner in Amman to mark its 20th anniversary, reaffirming its mission to empower orphaned youth across Jordan through education and long-term support.

The event aimed to expand the Fund’s reach, increase its annual impact, and secure resources to support a new cohort of young beneficiaries from various governorates, enabling them to complete their education and transition successfully into the workforce.

During the evening, Queen Rania and attendees reviewed inspiring success stories of beneficiaries who have overcome challenging circumstances to achieve academic and professional milestones, contributing meaningfully to society and the labor market.

In the presence of members of the Fund’s general and administrative boards, Her Majesty also met with key supporters, partners, and donors. She expressed her appreciation for their vital role in sustaining the Fund’s programs and advancing its humanitarian mission.

The charity dinner was supported by 38 sponsors and partners from both the public and private sectors. Leading platinum sponsors included Housing Bank for Trade and Finance, Jordan Bromine Company, Aqaba Development Corporation, and Equiti Group, while Arab Potash Company and Al Waha for Cars were among the gold sponsors.

Al Aman Fund Director General Noor Homoud highlighted the organization’s achievements, stating that the Fund has expanded its services beyond youth aging out of residential care to include orphaned individuals across all regions of Jordan. She noted that the Fund provides comprehensive support, including education, housing, living expenses, health insurance, and training in 75 personal, social, economic, and digital skills.

Founded as a Ramadan campaign launched by Queen Rania in 2003 and institutionalized in 2006, the Al Aman Fund aims to secure the future of orphans after they turn 18—whether they come from care homes or live with their families. To date, the Fund has impacted the lives of more than 5,000 young men and women through fully funded scholarships.
