The new, verified images and trajectory data for the artificial crater generated on the Moon's surface by the impact of a spent SpaceX rocket stage will now appear on the official NASA portal, according to SpaceRef, which cites SpaceFlight Now. The images were taken between 11 and 12 August by NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter and capture, in high resolution, the exact location on the Moon of a fast 5 August collision of a piece of a rocket.
