Lidl GB has said it’s planning this ambitious, big scale expansion, basically to lock in its presence across Great Britain. The discount supermarket giant is looking to put in hundreds of millions of pounds, to speed up where it opens next. And it’s a proper brick-and-mortar push, meant to meet that rising consumer demand, while also pushing local economies in a noticeable way.
