Kuwait's Crown Prince, His Highness Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad AlSabah, has expressed his heartfelt condolences to the President of India, Droupadi Murmu, following the devastating floods in northeastern India.

In a cable sent on Tuesday, His Highness conveyed his sincere sympathy for the lives lost and those affected by the heavy rains and flooding that have hit multiple Indian states. The severe weather has caused significant casualties, injuries, and destruction of property.
The Crown Prince’s message emphasized Kuwait’s solidarity with India during this difficult time, standing by the victims and their families as they deal with the aftermath of the disaster.
Heavy monsoon rains have recently caused widespread flooding in parts of northeastern India, leading to loss of life and large-scale damage to homes and infrastructure. Rescue and relief efforts are currently underway.
