The Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) announced motorists will not have to pay for parking or Darb tolls in the UAE capital on October 8 on the occasion of Prophet Muhammad's birthday from Saturday, October 8, until 7:59 am on Monday, October 10.
No charges will apply for parking spaces at the Musaffah M-18 truck parking lot as well.
The authority called on drivers to avoid parking in prohibited areas and residential parking spaces from 9:00 pm until 8:00 am.
Meanwhile, the Darb toll gate system will be reactivated on Monday.
