The Australia vs. India test match series began on Friday, Nov. 22 at the Optus Stadium in Perth and Australia trailed by 83 runs. 

India won the toss and decided to bat first and the team scored 150 runs in their first innings. 

When Australia came to bat, India's stand-in captain Jasprit Bumrah stole the show by taking four wickets, letting Australia score 67 runs only. 

Bumrah first took out debutant opener Nathan McSweeney, Usman Khawaja, Steve Smith, and Pat Cummins.

There remain four matches in the test series; the game will resume on Saturday, Nov. 23.
