1 cup water
1 tablespoon lemon juice

  1. Combine sugar and water

    Combine the sugar and water in a saucepan, and bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat.
  2. Add lemon juice and stir constantly

    Add lemon juice and stir the mixture constantly until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture is thickened, then remove from heat.
  3. Serve
