More Than 3,000 People Killed in Iran During US-Israel Attacks

More than 3,000 people have been killed in Iran since the start of the conflict involving the United States and Israel, according to a human rights organisation monitoring developments from outside the country.

The Human Rights Activists News Agency reported that a total of 3,099 deaths had been recorded across Iran as of March 16.

According to the organisation’s data, the casualties include 1,351 civilians and 1,126 military personnel, while the status of 622 individuals could not be confirmed.

The majority of the attacks have been concentrated in Tehran Province, where both military and civilian areas have reportedly been affected.

While strikes have targeted military installations, the group said it also documented attacks occurring in or near civilian sites, raising concerns over the impact on non-combatants.

The figures highlight the growing human cost of the ongoing conflict, with casualty numbers continuing to rise as hostilities persist. Independent verification of the toll remains challenging due to restricted access within the country.

International observers have expressed increasing concern over the scale of the violence and its toll on civilians, particularly in densely populated regions.
