Kuwait Prohibits Graduation Ceremonies Outside of Schools

Kuwait's Minister of Education, Jalal Al Tabtbaei, has prohibited schools from hosting graduation ceremonies off-campus.

The education minister announced this new regulation on Thursday, April 24. According to the new regulation, schools must host the graduation ceremonies and other celebrations in their on-campus auditoriums.
The news comes as the academic year of 2024-2025 is ending in June, therefore, schools will be hosting graduation ceremonies for their Year 12 students in the coming weeks.
These educational institutions will have to abide by this new regulation for their graduation ceremonies.
