His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on Tuesday launched the AED 100 million "Arab genius project".

Sheikh Mohammed said the project will search for 1,000 pioneers in the fields of physics, mathematics, programming sciences, research and economics over the next five years.

A selected group will be supported by global intellectuals and researchers.

The Museum of the Future, which will "open soon", will "serve as the intellectual and administrative centre for this new Arab movement".Today marks Sheikh Mohammed's 16th Accession Day anniversary.
