Ras Al Khaimah Police has announced that a new radar has been installed on Masafi Road. The radar will actively detect unauthorised crossing of trucks and expired vehicles from Monday, October 17, 2022.

The authority informed residents of the installation through a post on Twitter.

A top official at Central Operations division, Ras Al Khaimah Police has stated that the radar has been installed to control traffic on Masafi Road.

The radar will monitor the violations of trucks that use the road without a permit or outside of permitted hours. It will also detect vehicles with an expired registration.

The official urged motorists to renew their vehicle license, abide by traffic laws, and follow speed limits. The official noted that truck drivers must not pass Masafi Road without a license to avoid a traffic violation, and to ensure the safety of people and property.
