Over 1,000 Job Opportunities Await Locals and Expats in Kuwait

This just in! Kuwait is opening up new job opportunities for everyone (yes, both locals and foreigners can bask in this), showing their commitment to prioritize Kuwaiti employment, and we're here for it. The Kuwait Municipality has announced a whopping 1,090 vacancies, ranging from roles in the funeral department for expats who will handle the necessary rituals for the deceased, to 25 positions as hearse drivers.
While the budget report also mentions job openings for architects, electricians, and mechanics, it's not clear if these positions are available to foreigners. However, administrative roles are exclusively for Kuwaiti nationals only.
Starting from April 2024, the new budget will set aside approximately KD190 million for wages and compensation, representing a KD9 million increase compared to the current budget.
