NASA’s Perseverance rover managed to pull off some really high resolution footage of a solar eclipse on Mars, and ya it was caused by its little moon Phobos. I mean it looks super clean on the screen, but scientifically it’s huge too because it gives key evidence about how the Red Planet’s gravity is behaving, and how its orbital stuff keeps changing over time.
