The Lost City Hydrothermal Field shows its geological beauty through scientific discoveries from 2000 which create a futuristic appearance. The Lost City exists as a system of white towers which exude life into the ocean's black depths unlike the "black smoker" vents which emit dark materials with acidic properties.
