The strain, burden, and mute self-pride which is superimposed upon being the eldest brother or sister is a particular set. The firstborns must be older and at position of control because at an early age as they grow up they are usually the lead and example and grow fast as compared to the rest of their peers. They have no road map in their lives since they have no elder brother or sister to be guided and they themselves in seeking their path can only live to meet the expectation of their parents. Personalities are shaped by these experiences at a tender age. Whether it is the degree of their leadership attributes, psychological development or inner pressure all older siblings tend to bring trends that are likely to run forward to adulthood.
