Kuwaiti Businesswoman Sells £28M Knightsbridge Mansion
Fawziah Mubarak Al-Hassawi’s sale of her £28 million Hyde Park mansion sets a new tone for London’s ultra-prime property market in 2025.

The Kuwaiti businesswoman, Fawziah Mubarak Al-Hassawi, sold a £28 million Knightsbridge mansion, making it one of the biggest home sales of the year so far.
Al-Hassawi sold the 11-bedroom Princes Gate townhouse overlooking Hyde Park. The Kuwaiti businesswoman sold the mansion to a Middle Eastern property billionaire.
The mansion was last sold for £32.5 million in 2019 and has been sold below its £30 million asking price in its latest transaction.
According to data from Coutts, 82 percent of prime London houses were sold below their asking prices in the first three months of this year.
The sale of the Princes Gate mansion has set a benchmark for the top end of the market.
The mansion features a swimming pool, vaults, an industrial kitchen and two lifts, It is located near Harrods and the museums of South Kensington.

Al-Hassawi is the daughter of the late Middle Eastern tycoon, Mubarak Al-Hassawi. She set up the Fawziah Mubarak Al Hassawi Group (FMH Group), which oversees £800 million of developments in the UK, Germany and Spain.
The European arm of this group, Al Mubarakia, also owns and manages properties worth £300 million around the world.
