The US President will address the nation on Wednesday, April 1.

US President Donald Trump has said that the US and Israel's war on Iran could end in two to three weeks in a statement on Tuesday, March 31.

He also said that the Iranian government did not have to finalize a deal as a prerequisite for the US to end its war on the country.

President Trump told reporters at the White House in Washington, "We'll be leaving very soon, within two weeks, maybe two weeks, maybe three."

When asked if diplomacy with Iran was necessary for the US to end its war, he said, "Iran doesn't have to make a deal, no."

President Trump emphasized, "No, they [Iran] don't have to make a deal with me.”

The White House later revealed that the US President will address the nation "to provide an important update on Iran” at 9:00 p.m. EST on Wednesday, April 1, which will be 5:00 a.m. GST on Thursday, April 2.

The US President has been making varying statements about the war over the past weeks. Nobody has any idea how the latest timeline will be, either, but the US has moved more troops to the Middle East in recent days for future escalation if President Trump changes his mind.
