Broadway Musical 'Wicked' is Coming to Kuwait in 2026

The internationally acclaimed Broadway musical Wicked is set to captivate audiences in Kuwait in April 2026, with multiple performances scheduled at the National Theatre at the Sheikh Jaber Al Ahmad Cultural Centre (JACC) — bringing one of the world’s most beloved stage productions to the region. 

Already performed in over 130 cities across 16 countries and seen by more than 65 million people worldwide, Wicked tells the untold story of the witches of Oz, exploring themes of friendship, identity and empowerment. The musical features stunning production elements, including breathtaking sets, more than 350 lavish costumes, and a large ensemble of performers, crew, and orchestra members. 

Performances are scheduled for April 21 and 22 at 6:00 pm, and April 23 and 24 at 8:00 pm, giving theatre lovers in Kuwait several chances to experience this spellbinding show live on stage. 

Wicked has become a global theatre phenomenon since its Broadway debut, featuring iconic songs such as “Defying Gravity,” “Popular” and “For Good”, and has won the hearts of audiences for its powerful storytelling and unforgettable musical numbers.
